John B. Cotter, MD

Dr. John B. Cotter is a highly respected ophthalmologist and cornea specialist with nearly five decades of experience in eye care. He received his Medical Degree in 1972 from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his internship at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City and residency at the University of Missouri Kansas City Medical Center.

Adam Abroms, MD

Dr. Adam Abroms, MD has been in practice on the Central Coast as a board-certified eye surgeon and ophthalmologist since 1999. He received his undergraduate degree in Physics and Applied Mathematics from Harvard University. He received both MD and Masters of Surgery (CM) degrees from McGill University where he received an Osler Medical Aid Foundation Scholarship and a Hewlett-Packard Medical Graduate Award for being in the top of his class.

Paul J. Dougherty, MD

Dr. Paul Dougherty, M.D. is an internationally renowned eye surgeon who has helped pioneer many of today’s most popular vision correction techniques. He serves as medical director of Los Angeles-based Dougherty Laser Vision, and as assistant clinical instructor of ophthalmology at UCLA’s Jules Stein Eye Institute. He is also one of just 40 surgeons worldwide to serve on the editorial board of the Journal of Refractive Surgery – the official peer-reviewed refractive surgery specialty journal published by the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).
